Helen Dunmore (natural December 12, 1952) is a British poet, novelist and children's writer. She sleep in Bristol & has published septenary novels & 2 collections of short stories. Her collections of poetry include Away from a Blue (2001), Bestiary (1997), Secrets (1994), Recovering a Immune system (1994), Short Days, Long Nights (1991), The Raw Garden (1988), The Sea Skater (1986) and A Apple Fall (1983)

She has won a Cardiff International Poetry Prize, been shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize & her books known when as Poetry Book Society Selection & Recommendations.
